The intention when starting Louve, was to offer a new perspective on fashion and shopping. We believe that renting kids' clothes is a great start in that direction. But we also know that some things you just want to own exclusively for your little one. So we have made a selection of gorgeous items we figured we would love to purchase ourselves. It's a mixure of new and secondhand items, nevertheless all are in the same, good condition.

Just leave it in the box that it was shipped in and inform us by emailing us at info@louvekids.com. We will exchange it for a fitting item asap. If you have any questions about sizing, we are here for advice!

When an item is rented out, we like to give you the option of tracking it whenever it returns. So if you hit the ‘notify me’ button, you can subscribe with your email address so we can inform you whenever it has returned. This does not guarantee that it is reserved for you – that depends on your reaction skills.

Renting

  1. Saves you money
    By only paying for the amount of time the clothing fits, you can substantially save costs. Yup. Momma likes.
  2. Keeps your closet tidy with only items you need
    Those piles of clothing you still have to go trough for that 1 friend that might be interested (or just secretly throws it away?) – you can now just skip that and do something fun with your time.
  3. Less impact on the environment
    As fashion production holds a 10% share of humanity’s carbon emissions, your cheap ass holiday flight is now officially rated less worse than buying all new outfits for your little one.
  4. Makes high end brands accessible
    The brands we carry are made from high quality materials and now come at an affordable price level.
  5. Products will be used to their extent
    Swimwear, snowsuits, birthday clothes and wedding outfits… Clothing that is worn occasionally and still is perfectly good to wear will now be used to their extent.
Our rental collection has mainly been sourced from deadstock. Items from high end brands that otherwise would have gone to waste.  Every item is selected on high quality, rich materials and of course - awesome lewks.
We work with a professional cleaning company who cleans all items in an eco friendly way. Depending on the condition and composition of the item, it is either steamed or washed with an environmentally friendly wash. We are planning on sharing some footage on this process with you soon.
For a minimum of 6 weeks.
When the 6 weeks are over, you can either let it automatically extend, swap it for a size up or return it. Up to you!
Yes you can! We can definitely imagine you getting attached to an item. Please inform us by emailing us at info@louvekids.com, we will sort it out together. Our standard fee is to charge you the original retail price minus your rental fee.

Giftcard

Go to our BUY page, there you will find the giftcard as a product. Choose your amount and let us know to whom it is attended. We can always include a personal message, just let us know by emailing 
Select the items you like and when checking out, just file the code at: 'Have a coupon? Click here to enter your code' and it will automatically calculate your new order total.

Easy peasy: log in to your account and go to return info. Click the blue button ('Returning rented products? Click here'), it will redirect you to our return portal. File your postal code & order or tracking number and your items pop up. Select the items you wish to return and file a reason. Choose your drop-off location and a return label will automatically be created that will also be sent to you by mail. Pack the items in the original posting enveloppe and show the return label at the postal office (no need to print it out, let's save as much paper as we can). That's it!

Payment

For our rental items, we ask you to accept direct debit. This will automatically extend until we have received the rentals back.
The direct debit automatically renews every 6 weeks. If we did not receive a return request, we are under the impression that you are still happily making use of your items. Should you have forgotten to return or sent it out a bit late, we can always work something out together 🙂 just keep us posted and we'll make it work.
Just log in to your account and request a return. The renting subscription automatically ends whenever we have received your items.

Damage & Loss

We have covered insurance in your rental fee, because we expect you to wear it and damages are a part of life with kids. Please notify us by sending us an e-mail and some pictures at info@louvekids.com, so we can anticipate and put our stain magician to work. But please, always do return it.
In the rare case that your items get stolen or lost, please inform us by e-mailing us at info@louvekids.com. We have a standard fee of 30% of the original retail price, but are here for you and are always open to find a solution together.

Wash & Care

To ensure the longest lifecycle for our products, we advice you to wash at 30c and air dry, not tumble dry.

Nope, we got you! When you return your products, we have them professionally cleaned before they ship off to the next happy owner.
